Separate editing the island from moving the view

Begin by selecting a terrain, building or tree tool in the right-hand panel and placing one item. Check the active selection before dragging to place continuously. A small test placement confirms what the tool will create and helps avoid changing a large area unintentionally. Right-click erases in this edition, so test that action on a small area you are prepared to remove rather than using it as a view control.

Move the view with Shift-drag and adjust zoom with the wheel. Practise those actions separately from building until you can tell when a gesture will edit the island and when it will move the camera. After a view change, identify your next intended cell again. The scene is a creative voxel island, not a mission with a compulsory construction sequence. Use a small composition goal instead of searching this guide for an unverified campaign walkthrough.

Review a scene and understand local saving

For a design exercise, choose one area and balance terrain, structures and vegetation so that its main feature is recognizable. Change a few items, inspect the view and decide whether the result is clearer. If the edit went wrong, first check whether the wrong tool was selected or whether a camera gesture became a placement gesture. Those are different causes and suggest different habits for the next session.

The Cozcade edition keeps its save locally, with automatic saving and an S/manual save action described on the game page. A local save is not an account-backed cloud copy or a guarantee of recovery after browser data is deleted. Before changing browser storage or devices, keep that distinction in mind. This guide does not describe an export or sharing facility merely because another voxel editor has one. Its checklist helps plan your next edits; it does not itself save, restore or synchronize the island.

For a short session, choose an island feature such as a cluster of buildings separated by vegetation. Place a few items, pan the view with the proper gesture and inspect the grouping from the new position. If a drag changed the terrain instead, pause editing and practise the camera gesture on a clear area before continuing. Then check your tool selection and resume with single placements. A local save preserves the browser edition state, while your design goal helps decide which edits to make next; these are separate parts of the session.
