What does AnyPS5 actually do?
The author describes AnyPS5 as a relinker plus replacement system libraries. It adapts an existing executable to the target computer platform; it is not a service that streams a console session. A converted executable still needs the matching host libraries, its game resources and working implementations of the features the game uses.
Start by identifying your goal. If you want a short game that opens in a browser without preparing files, use Cozcade’s separate browser games. If you want to investigate AnyPS5, continue with its own requirements. A PS5-related headline does not establish that a particular title is compatible or that there is a Play now button.

Original downloads and version selection
At this check, the original repository’s latest release is v0.1.1, published September 28, 2026. Its Windows assets include relinker-v0.1.1.exe and prx-windows-v0.1.1.zip; Linux assets include relinker-v0.1.1 and prx-linux-v0.1.1.tar.gz. Choose the relinker and the system-library package for the same release and operating system. These names identify the checked release, not a promise that it will remain the newest.
Use the original Releases link in the sources below. A source-code archive from GitHub’s Code menu is different from a ready-built relinker and host libraries. The checked release supplies no macOS package. The newer development usage document describes macOS and Rosetta options, but those options do not establish support in the September release. Follow the documentation that belongs to the version you actually obtain.

Windows and Linux setup: which files belong together?
The checked development instructions require a clean ELF executable and its bundled modules. A SELF container is rejected. They show a generated program alongside a libs folder for AnyPS5’s target-system libraries and an app0 folder for game resources and converted game modules. This explains the role of each component; it is not a one-click installation or a method for obtaining a game.
Before conversion, confirm the target operating system and the revision of both the relinker and libraries. In the checked development document, Windows output is selected with --windows; simply naming the output .exe does not select that format. Linux is the default output format there. Read the corresponding version’s usage and build instructions before copying commands, especially when comparing stable downloads with a newer source build.
Keep the original inputs separate from generated output. Supply only files you are authorized to use. AnyPS5’s repository does not supply games, console firmware or keys, and Cozcade does not host them. Having the correct folders is necessary preparation, not proof that the graphics, sound, saving and full gameplay will work for your title.

AnyPS5 games: read compatibility by version
The compatibility file pinned to v0.1.1 records Dreaming Sarah, ID PPSA02929, as in-game and playable on Windows; its Linux result is marked unknown. That file reports 60 FPS on a GTX 1050 Ti with an i5-7500 and 36 FPS on Intel HD Graphics 620 with an i5-7200. These are upstream results for that title and revision, not a Cozcade benchmark or minimum specifications for every PS5 game.
The checked development README now points readers to community progress data and per-title Game bring-up discussions. A later report may use a different revision and hardware. Check its date, exact game, operating system, stage reached and remaining blockers before applying it to your setup. Booting, showing a first frame, reaching a menu and playing reliably are different outcomes.
System-library function coverage and shader progress describe pieces of the project. They are not a percentage of games that will run. For your own test record, keep the AnyPS5 revision, game version, device and observed result together. This page does not claim a current exhaustive compatibility list or universal PS5 support.

Controller, keyboard and mouse setup
The v0.1.1 input document describes SDL-recognized controllers, including sticks and analog triggers. Keyboard and mouse bindings can be customized in anyps5-input.ini beside the generated game executable. The file belongs to the game’s output directory, rather than wherever you happened to save the relinker.
The document uses lines such as Cross = KEY:Space. This example binds the Cross action to Space; it is not a universal list of gameplay controls. Actions omitted from the configuration retain their built-in bindings. A configured action can have alternate inputs, while controller bindings remain enabled independently. An invalid line can stop input initialization, so preserve a working configuration before editing it.
Why does conversion or launch fail?
Check the failing stage first: conversion, library loading, input initialization or rendering. Keep the first error message and revision with your report. The checked usage document distinguishes AnyPS5 system libraries from original game modules. On Windows, placing an original PS5 module where a native host library belongs can produce error 193; missing compiler runtime dependencies can produce error 126 even when a .prx file is present.
If output is in the wrong format, recheck the target option instead of renaming the file. If resources or modules are missing, compare the documented layout for that revision. A game that launches and then fails can still need unimplemented graphics or system behavior. Repeatedly downloading a different unofficial installer does not diagnose that failure. Use the author’s issue and per-title discussion channels with a clear stage and reproducible information.

Track progress and choose your next step
For a new release, check the original tag, asset names and release notes together. For a source build, record the commit rather than only saying latest. Keep older inputs and a working configuration separate while comparing revisions. Updating the tool can change its supported options, expected modules and failure behavior; an old tutorial needs a version check before reuse.
Use the platform selector below to choose the relevant documentation route. Our Radiant Optimizer guide covers a separate collection of browser projects and their file requirements. It is not an AnyPS5 compatibility list. The linked arcade and action games are separate Cozcade experiences for readers who would rather play in a browser now.

Which AnyPS5 route fits your device?
Select a platform or a browser-only goal. This helper gives documentation pointers; it does not inspect your PC, run a conversion or certify compatibility.
AnyPS5 questions
Can I play AnyPS5 games in a browser?
The documented tool produces native computer executables. This guide does not provide a browser player, cloud gaming session or iframe for PS5 games.
Is AnyPS5 an official Sony tool?
It is the independent open-source project maintained at boykopovar/AnyPS5. This Cozcade guide is also independent; neither is presented as a Sony product.
Does AnyPS5 work with every PS5 game?
No universal compatibility is established by the cited sources. Results depend on the exact title, tool revision, host libraries and hardware. A progress percentage is not a guarantee of playable games.
Which AnyPS5 files should I download?
For the checked v0.1.1 release, choose the original relinker and matching Windows or Linux system-library package. A source archive alone is different, and no game files are included.
Does the current release include a Mac download?
The checked v0.1.1 assets contain Windows and Linux packages, with no macOS package. Newer development documentation includes macOS/Rosetta options; that is a separate source-build workflow, not proof that the old release supports it.
Can Cozcade provide the game executable?
No. This page provides a guide and original project links. You must supply game files you are authorized to use; Cozcade does not provide console dumps, firmware or keys.
